Step-by-Step Guide to Enable API Access from GST Portal

Follow these simple steps to log in to your GST account and easily enable your API access to manage filing.

Step 1: Visit the Official GST Portal

• Open your web browser and visit the official Goods and Services Tax (GST) portal: www.gst.gov.in.

Step 2: Click on the Login Button

• On the homepage of the GST portal, you will find a Login button at the top right corner of the page. Click on this button to proceed.

Step 3: Enter Your GST Username and Password

• Username: Enter your GST Username in the required field.
• Password: Enter the password that you set during the registration process.

Step 4: How to Enable API Access on the GST Portal

• In the top right corner, click on your profile name and select My Profile.
• On the service page’s left-side menu, click Manage API Access.
• In the Manage API Access page,Click Yes to enable the API request.
• Select the active duration and click “Confirm”.

A notification will appear stating that your API session will activate within your enabled days.
